Betty J. Bullock Wright, a beloved and cherished soul, was born on August 24, 1945, in Alamo, Georgia to the late Mr. A.W. Harvey, Sr. and Ms. Bessie L. Johnson. She peacefully departed from this world on April 15, 2024, at her home in Alamo surrounded by her loving family.
Betty was preceded in death by her first husband Paul D. Bullock and second husband H.T. Wright Sr., as well as daughters Linda Horne and Brenda Bullock, son Wendell Bullock; leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever be remembered.
She is survived by her devoted children: Paulette McLeod (Craig) of Conyers, GA; Karen Zanders (Larry) of McRae, GA, daughter-in-love Ramona Bullock of San Antonio, TX; Coy Bullock (Janice) of Valdosta, GA; Dondra Bullock; Henry T. Wright Jr. (Angela) of Alamo, GA; David Wright (Susan) of Glenwood, GA.; sisters Barbara Turner-Hill (William) of Glenwood, GA, Sidnitra McRae-Dawson (Caphrus); brothers Zimmery Harvey, Clayton Harvey of Alamo, Ken Harvey (Cassandra); son-in-love William Horne (Kathy) of Conyers, GA. Sister-in-love Maddie McClendon. Betty also leaves behind twenty-three grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren who were the light of her life along with a host of nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Betty. As well as countless cousins, relatives, and friends.
Betty's life was marked by faithfulness to God and dedication to serving others through missionary work within Spaulding Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she found solace in worshiping alongside fellow believers for many years.
Her unwavering commitment to living out the teachings of Christ made an indelible mark on all those around her - she truly embodied what it meant to live a God-filled life filled with compassion for everyone she encountered.

A heartfelt thank you goes out from the family to Betty's devoted sister Barbara Turner-Hill whose unwavering support never wavered even when times were tough as well as granddaughter Kendra who selflessly served as caregivers throughout Betty’s illness – your love knew no bounds.
In closing we remember our dear mother whose absence has left an irreplaceable void but whose memory shall forever remain etched into our hearts until we meet again someday beyond this earthly realm.
