Doretha (Jackson) Tobler

Doretha Tobler was born on June 16, 1937, to the parents of the late Hubert and Lugene Jackson of Pulaski County, GA. Our Queen went to take her rest on a late Monday night, June 27, 2022, at home with family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Tobler Sr.; her daughter, Rosemary Elizabeth Stegall; her sister, Laura Jean Stegall and two brothers, Edgar Jackson and Eddie Jackson.

She is survived by her daughters, Gwen Jackson, Linda Tobler and Elisa (Billy) Woods; her sons, Arnie Jr. (Cecilia) Stegall, Curtis Jr. (Lynette) Tobler, Eddie Tobler and James Tobler; her sisters, Ganelle (Lucious) Wright and  Mildred Jackson;  brothers, James Jackson and William Jackson; two brothers-in-law, Charlie Frank Tobler and Jonas (Gardenia) Tobler; and a special friend, Lessie Mae Troup; two special grand daughters who helped care for her, Breunka “Shay” Jackson and Shanice “NeNe” Lovett and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
