A Time to be Born: Harold Lee Grant was born in Glenwood, Ga on October 8,1947 to Willie and Willie Mae Grant, the sixth child of eight children.
A Time to Grow: He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. He graduated from Wheeler County High School and attended Fort Valley State College for a couple of years. He retired from DeKalb County Waste Management System after 30 years of services. He loved gardening, sharing his home-grown produces, cooking and helping anyone who needed assistance.
A Time to Love: He deeply loved his family and friends.
A Time of Peace: Harold Grant was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Willie Mae Grant; one sister Zella who passed when she was less than 1 year old; three brothers, Billy Ray Grant; Arlin (Ollie) Grant and Joseph Lee Grant. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: two brothers, Jasper David Grant (Betty) of Vidalia Ga; Horace Willie Grant (Barbara) of Glenwood, Ga; and one sister, Frankie Grant-Hall (Winston) on Riverdale, Md; and a sister-in-law, Martha Grant of Glenwood Ga. Several nieces and nephews cherished his memories: Phyllis Conaway (John), Felicia Grant, Polly Johnson, Diana Rawls (Vashone), Rhoda Grant, Charise Barnes (Tony), Horace Willie Grant Jr, Paige Berry (Tenry) and Joseph Lee Grant Jr.; a host of cousins and friends cherished his memories.
