On December 23, 2023, our beloved mother, Inez Turner gained her heavenly wings. She was born September 10, 1939 to the late Grant (Preacher) Harvey, Sr. and Emma Lou Harvey.
Inez, at a young age, became a faithful and devoted member of Spaulding Grove Missionary Baptist Church where her love and faith for God continued to grow. She later became an exceptional employee of 30 years at Oxford in Alamo, GA. During this time, she married the late Climmie Lee Turner and birthed 6 children. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Grant W., Jr., Cornelius, and Ira Harvey.
Inez was preceded in death, her husband, Climmie Lee and their son, Kalvin Turner.
Inez leaves to cherish six sons, Daniel Lee Turner, Thaddeus Turner (Valerie), Joe Phillip Turner (Terry), Earl McDonal Turner (LaToya), David Megail Turner (Shawn) and one daughter, Angela Denese Williams (Michael); a sister, Inezer Chatman; one brother, Jessie Harvey; two brothers-in-law, Jefferson Turner (Shyrell) and Dan Jack Turner (special sister-in-law in death, Sharron) and two sisters-in-law, Mary L. Turner and Carrie Turner. She had a special relationship with Ms. Cora Clark, Ms. Vassie Worthern, cousin Betty Jo Wright and Laretha Cooney and Cathy Turner-Anderson; Inez also leaves to cherish 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
