Jimmie Lee Mincey was born May 21, 1947, in Milan, GA to the late William and Hattie Mae Mincey. He was a faithful and devoted member of New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
Jimmie was known for his warmth and dedication to his family and friends. On April 25, 1967, he married his soulmate, Justine, and together they built a life full of love and cherished memories. They moved to New Jersey in 1969. He was employed as a welder at McWilliams Forge and a chauffeur at Morris View Nursing Home.
He was a devoted father to their only child, Olivia, and his greatest joy was being Taylor's grandfather.
Jimmie enjoyed fishing, bowling, shooting pool, music, and playing cards. He also loved spending time outside on his front porch.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Hattie Mae Mincey, sister, Joann Adams, brother, William Mincey, and sister-in-law Debra Mincey.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 57 years, Andrea Justine Mincey; daughter, Andrea (Carlton) Olivia Lewis; sisters, Lillie Kemp, Bernice Mincey Roots, Mary Mincey, Eunice Mincey, and Carrie Mincey; brothers, Oliver (Kim) Mincey, Preston (Jackie) Mincey, Rufus (Loree) Mincey, Calvin Mincey, and Alvin Mincey; granddaughter Taylor (Dylan) Neill; aunts, Beulah Allen, Gladys Mincey, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members.
