Jonathan C. Wilcox departed this life on January 16, 2026.  He was born in Rhine, GA on June 25, 1964 to the parentage of the late Alonza Wilcox, Sr. and Cora L. Wilcox.  

He was the 11th of 13 children. Three siblings preceded him in death; Author L. Wilcox, Willie C. Wilcox and Alonza Wilcox, Jr.

He worked as a tree logger and farmer.

He was married to Tammie Faye Wilcox.  He had one son who preceded him in death.

His memory will be cherished by 9 siblings; Johnny M. Wilcox (Amy) of Coconut Crk., FL, Flora L. Willis (Jimmy) of Scotland, GA, Carrie M. Wells (David) of McRae, GA, Janie Ellis (Harry, deceased) of McRae, GA, Sandra Ellison (Charlie) of Snellville GA, Alphonza Wilcox (Kerry) of Margate, FL, Josephine Wilcox of Rhine, GA, Lisa Baugh of Vidalia, GA and Teresa Moore (Tony) of Alexandria, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
