Mae Dan (Clark) Clements

Mrs. Mae Dan Clements, 90 years old, left the loving embrace of her family to enter the presence of her Lord and Savior on October 25, 2024 at  her home in Jacksonville, GA.
Mrs. Mae Clements was born on September 18, 1934 to the late Dannie and Eliza Clark in Jacksonville, GA.  She was known as a kind, generous and loving person, who always put her family first.  She exemplified the importance of Love, Faith and Family.  Since an early age, a woman who honored God in every aspect of her life, she was a member of Tabernacle Church of God in Christ.
Mrs. Mae Dan Clements moved to Detroit, Michigan to begin her life where she worked at Robert Hall Clothing Store as a Merchandise Retailer.  Mrs. Mae Dan Clements married the love of her life, the late Elder Clarence Clements in 1955.  Mrs. Mae Dan and her family moved back to Jacksonville, GA where she and her husband (Elder Clarence) became what God called on them to be, Pastor and First Lady at Tabernacle Church of God in Christ.  She was dedicated to her calling and served the Almighty faithfully until she became ill.  
Mrs. Mae Dan Clements was preceded in death by her loving husband (Elder Clarence Clements); one brother and three sisters.
Her loving memory will forever be treasured by her son, Clarence Clements; daughter-in-law and caregiver Janice Clements of Jacksonville, GA; five grandchildren, Ve’Yonna Clements and Rashad Clements of Douglas, GA, Jasmine Clements-Wilcox (G P Wilcox) of Atlanta, GA, Teia Clements of Atlanta, GA and Kevonte Thomas (Destiny Thomas) of Jacksonville GA; 15 great grands; a very special cousin (sister) Saly Broughton; a niece Sharon Clark of Miami, FL that dedicated so much time with her.
