Marion Bryant Obituary

In Loving Memory
On March 1, 2026, Marion Vontae Bryant departed his life leaving family and
friends sorrowed. Born November 19, 1992, in Ocilla, Georgia, Marion was the
beloved son of Betty Chambers Hines and the late Elijah Bryant Sr., the seventh of
nine children who grew up in a home filled with love, laughter, and warmth. He was
a beloved son, brother, and friend—a soul whose kindness, joy, and gentle spirit
touched the lives of all who knew him.
Marion poured his heart and talents into helping others, leading as Director of
Voices of Faith Daycare in Conyers, Georgia. He showed constant dedication to the
children and families he served, leaving behind a legacy of compassion. He was also
deeply involved with the youth in his hometown of Eastman Georgia, actively
supporting their extracurricular activities and making every effort to attend their
events to show his encouragement and support.
He truly embraced the beauty of life, cherishing every moment spent with family
and friends. His outgoing nature, intelligence, and warmth brought comfort and
laughter to countless gatherings. Marion found joy in riding horses, trail riding, and
line dancing—simple pleasures that spoke to his adventurous soul. Above all, he
adored his beloved dog, Stella. As a proud “Dog Dad,” Marion’s walks and visits to
the dog park with Stella were not just routines, but cherished rituals, filled with love
and connection.
Marion’s love and legacy remain in the hearts of his devoted mother, Betty J. Hines
(Greg), and his siblings: Dairick Bryant (Lakiela) of Jacksonville, Georgia; Cindy
Bryant of Chauncey, Georgia; Elijah Bryant (Daffney) of Vidalia, Georgia; Betty
Lou Jackson (Roy) of Chauncey, Georgia; Justin Bryant of Columbia, South
Carolina; Jamie Bray (Miguel, deceased) of Chauncey, Georgia; Tonja Green of
Conyers, Georgia; and Greg Hines Jr. of Chauncey, Georgia. He also leaves behind
a large, loving family—nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and relatives—whose
lives he brightened and whose memories will forever hold him close.
Though Marion’s physical presence is no longer among us, his love, laughter, and
vibrant spirit will echo eternally in the lives of all who were blessed to share in his
journey. His legacy of compassion, joy, and unwavering love will live on, guiding
and uplifting those he loved so dearly.
