Robert L. Livingston, Sr. was born on October 13, 1947. He departed from Earth on March 24, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elijah; mother, Rosie Lee; and six brothers, Jack, Isom, Eugene, Elijah, Jr., Julius and Terry.
Robert attended Rock Hill Elementary in Jacksonville, GA. He left Georgia and moved to Tampa, FL in1973 where he worked as a longshoreman. He also worked as a season worker picking fruit. He enjoyed doing puzzles, riding his golf cart and BBQ for the family. He would clean all the fish mom caught but he didn’t like to fish.
He leaves to mourn five children, Robert Livingston, Jr. of Fitzgerald, GA, Leroy Livingston of McRae, GA, Karen Walker of Douglas, GA, Chrystal Sanders of Tampa, FL. and Audrey Jolley of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Johnny (Loretta) Livingston of Decatur, GA, Ben (Faye) Livingston of McRae, GA and Cassius (Monique) Livingston of Milan, GA; four sisters, Mattie McAllister of Jacksonville, GA, Felecia Livingston (Larry) Randolph of Massachusetts, Clara Wooten and Gloria (Lorenzo) Baity of Douglas, GA; three aunts, Ezell Clemons of Rhine, Thelma Stewart of Jacksonville, GA and Rosa Ann Mincey of Atlanta, GA; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grands and a sister-in-law, Sylvia Jordan; a host of nephews and nieces and friends.
