Ruby Nell (Tobler) Smith

Ruby Nell Smith died January 19, 2022 at Memorial Health Meadows Regional in Vidalia, GA.

She was the daughter of the late Theodore Tobler and the late Ida Mae Clark Tobler.  She was born on February 7, 1948 in Jeff Davis County.  She became a baptized servant of Jehovah in 1972 and was faithful until death.  She was united in marriage to her late husband, Robert Lee Smith, Sr, on November 1, 1966.  In that union, they bore four children whom will continue to cherish her loving memories.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Lee Smith, Jr. of McRae and Alonzo (Cathy) Smith of Lumber City; two daughters, Peteonia (Michael) Johnson of McRae and Christia (Phillip) Bakon of Musella; two brothers, Charlie Frank Tobler of Gainesville, FL and Jonas (Gardenia) Tobler of Vidalia; three brothers-in-law, Bennie (Lucy) Tillman and Willie C. (Wanda) Tillman, both of Alamo, and Johnny Barness of McRae; two sisters-in-law, Louella Smith of McRae and Adele Smith of Savannah; one uncle, Elijah Clark of Alamo; eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren; one special friend, Ernestine James and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  We will all greatly miss her.
